My mom had ALS (a form of MD). It is a terrible disease that robs people of their ability to move their body while their mind remains trapped in a body that refuses to do anything it used to do. It is terrible for the patient and terrible for the person who is watching it happen. Is there anything else you wanted to know. Just send me an email.

Yes I actually worked for a young lady in her 30's part time as a personal care attendant that is in management at State Farm with Muscular Dystrophy. She is bound to a wheelchair and has been all of her life, she is such an inspiration! She is so independent even though she can't physically do anything...do you have it?

My son has duchenne muscular dystrophy, and is about to turn 18.
