Apparently, your daily life is wacking out your system due to stress. The best advice I can give that has worked for me is to include a mild workout just before going to bed. Stretches, leg lifts, arm lifts, etc. all this can be done while laying in your bed. Sonn you will find you fall asleep while resting between excerises.

There are many possible reasons why you cannot sleep. If you seem to just be anxious all the time about what happened in the day, you may have too much stress which is causing you to stay awake. You should try some relaxation techniques. Try stretching followed by some deep-breathing (breathing slowly and deeply through your nose and into your stomach and then using your abdominal muscles to push the air out of your mouth slowly). You might want to try to exercice more regularly early in the day. Also, if you drink lots of sodas with caffeine or coffee you might want to stop that as well because it will keep you awake.

If it seems to be a really bad problem where you are never getting ANY sleep and you think it's affecting you physically and mentally, then see a doctor.

You might have insomnia, I certainly do. I always have trouble falling asleep. I have this herbal tea which helps me go to sleep, if I am ever having trouble, I just drink a cup before heading to bed. Half an hour of yoga before bed helps me a lot too. If something is on your mind, trying writing down what is bothering you in a journal/notebook. These are some of the things I do, don't worry, you are not the only one going through this. I know it can be hard at times, especially when you have to wake up the next morning for work or for school. Good luck with it, try some of these things, they might help.

hi, i went through that.

You can't sleep because of unresolved issues.
Don't expect to sleep when you go to bed.
When you go to bed that's the time to sort out all the things that happened to you that day. If you can't sleep and are low on sleep each week it's probaby because you have a bunch of ideas in you mind.
Ask yourself what issues are in your head then think through them.
When you have good ideas on how to deal with the issues you'll probably breathe in and out. That means you've probably solved one of the issues that was keeping you awake and feeling anxious/nervous. After you think through each issue, which could take an hour or so and include writing notes to your self.

If even that doesn't work and you're older and have health insurance, there are a few perfect pills that help.

All the best to you. As Jerry told George on Seinfeld, "The fabric of society is very complex."

I do this every so often. If you have to work then you should take something to help you sleep,I take a couple benydril.Stress affects us all in different ways and lack of sleep can and will make it worse. You need to try to resolve what is making you stressed. Either go see a dock or talk to a friend. you can figure it out. also if you dont like to take pills then do something that can wear you out before bed, exersize, power cleaning,If your old enough S*X.. Do not take your mental health for granted.

Because of the tension in your mind. Let things go. Let them go. And try some valerian root. It's wonderful. Get some Solgar- very good quality. Drink a lot of water with it and take it an hour before you go to sleep. It has no side effects.
