My glands in my throat are swollen (on the right side) and it is difficult to swallow. I've had this problem lots of times, and it usually clears up in a few days. But I noticed that there was a little bit of a whitish coating on them last night, and I had never seen that happen before. I also had a pretty high fever last night (101.5) but it went away last night in my sleep, and I woke up feeling pretty good. The problem is that my glands are still killing me. I don't have medical, and I would be waiting in the emergency room for hours waiting to see someone at the county hospital. Can anyone give me any advice on what to do? Should I see a doctor, or wait a few days to see if I feel better? IS this strep throat???

I have asked allot of questions about hep c on yahoo answers and have found out lots of intresting stuff from qualified people. The truth is I am in love with a man I have started seeing who is newly diagnosed as hep c. He is going to see a specialist soon to start treatment. He is 36 and has prob had it for 6 years. I am worried about catching it although we know sexual transmission is low with protection and to cover cuts so on. I am also worried about losing him early to cirrhosis even though he is going to have treatment. I am 28 and we would like children. Has anybody else been in this position and could it work out okay. What is the chance of household transmission if we live together? Can he recover completely after treatment and not suffer cirrhosis?Serious answers please.

Hello, im 18 years old and im 20 weeks pregnant and about to move to Nottingham. I have heard a lot about MRSA in hospitals in East Midlands, and how it can affect newborns and pregnant women. I cant really find much information about it on the internet and feel a bit silly asking about this, but what are the chances of getting MRSA when I will go for my appointments to see my midwife, or even worse, when I go into Labour? Please can somebody help and explain? Thank you.

I have had 3 sinus operations ,the last one was radical , but i still suffer from fungul sinusitis and have a golden staph infection in my sinusis and nasal passages . My doctor now wants to include me in a study for my condition using Mupirocin in powder form . I will be using a flow bottle with a mixture of saline water and the powder twice a day, for 21 days. Any one ever heard off this or something similar and what were the results? My condition is completely resistant to any other anti biotics and pennicilin. If any one else is using the powder ,not the ointment ,please send me an answer. Thank you and God Bless You. NICKY

It is really annoying me and making me disgusted. A friend of mine told me that he has worms inside his body and specifically inside his thick intestine. As he told me, these worms wandering beside his anus and disturbing him. He has also a little pain while excretion and has diarrhea for many days per month. I told him that he my has an Amebiasis which is caused by Entamoeba histolytica. I am not a physician but what he should have as a cure for this disease and what is the disease he has? Should he go to a physician and if there is no need, could he buy a specific drug from the pharmacy? Could you mention the name of the drug?

Do you think spread of bird flu is an natural even or there is a conspiracy behind what's going on. I mean its possible that some of the influencial people are trying to spread it deliberately for economic or political gain.
