It is really annoying me and making me disgusted. A friend of mine told me that he has worms inside his body and specifically inside his thick intestine. As he told me, these worms wandering beside his anus and disturbing him. He has also a little pain while excretion and has diarrhea for many days per month. I told him that he my has an Amebiasis which is caused by Entamoeba histolytica. I am not a physician but what he should have as a cure for this disease and what is the disease he has? Should he go to a physician and if there is no need, could he buy a specific drug from the pharmacy? Could you mention the name of the drug?

Tell your friend he should see his doctor and provide a stool specimen. People with amoebiasis don't have worms. they're different infections. However, it's likely that he has co-infections with other parasites (especially if he engages in the sorts of habits that would generally cause someone to get amobiasis).

Before your friend can get treated, he needs to find out which infections he's got. If he doesn't correctly identify the causative agent, he could get sick on the wrong treatment.

As for commonly used drug therapies, Flagyl (metronidazole) is commonly used to treat amoebiasis. The worms are usually treated with albendazole or similar drugs.
