I am on 2500 mg of Amoxacillin a day for 14 days, wait a week then they are going to test me again, if still postive, will be the fourth test, then the tonsils come out. I am doing all I can and appreciate everyone's concern.

If strep is left untreated it can progress to Rheumatic fever which affects your heart and can be fatal...there you go.

Hope you feel better soon.
