Relax. It's February, it's cold, there are alot of colds and flus going around at the moment.

According to an avian flu helpsite, the symptoms are exactly the same as normal flu, just massively exaggerated in the later stages. They are

Fever.
Cough.
Muscle Aches.
Sore Throat.
But with Bird flu you also get Conjunctivitis, severe respitory difficulties and in some cases, death.

Bird flu is much worse than ordinary flu. It is extremely unlikely that you have it, even if you have had close contact with birds which later died of bird flu. The virus is a bird virus and only infects humans with difficulty. The real time to panic will be when it mutates to be able to infect humans easily. For now, the risks are minimal. Eat poultry, go for walks in the country side, and you will not get bird flu.

There are two kinds of flu for us.... Influenza, the ordinary hot or light fever and intestinal flu. If you have the first one, well all you need is to eat fruits rich in Vitamin C, drink lukewarm water and take a nap. Then there is the intestinal flu. It will happen everytime you failed to eat the right kind of food.
Hope you don;t have high fever.

Have you recently licked the intestines of a dead bird?
Have you recently rubbed a dead bird over your face?
Have you recently inhaled microscopic particles from bird poo?

If the answer to any of the above is yes, then go see a doctor. I can recommend a good shrink.

1/ Do you work everyday with chickens/turkeys/ducks? No? I ask because not one case of the human form of this virus has been found in anyone who does not work in this industry.

2/ Clearly you have NO idea how this virus is transmitted.

3/ The WHO have found 69 cases of the human form of this virus in a world population of over 6,000,000,000. So, the odds of you getting it are...let's see... none.
