I have a 10-year-old daughter that has UTI for almost three years.
She is now under "Nitrofurantion" for more than 18 months.
Is there a hope that the UTI will go away as she grows up?
Any help and suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks …

I"ve been sick for about two weeks...it got bad last night (bad sore throat, runny nose, and my lymph glands were getting really swollen) so i went to the doc today, and he prescribed amoxcillin/ somekinda potassium for 10 days. How long should i wait to start running again so i won't get sick from doing too much too soon? Should i wait to the end of the ten days, just a few days after i feel normal again, or what?

I recently got my 3rd ear infection in one month. The doctor took a blood sugar test because he thinks that I could have diabetis. But, how is diabetis related to ear infections?

Do you think they're safe or do you hesitate to get one because
a.) you don't really know for sure what's in there or
b.) it could cause the flu virus to become resistant or
c.) it may not even be the strain that comes around or
d.) there are natural alternatives available in the health food store.

what do you think? The flu shot is only $15 at my local grocery in-store clinic...trying to decide...It's been a loooong time since I've gotten one because of some of the above thoughts.
