I am overweight and weigh 200lbs. Normally my resting heart rate is around 68-72. In the last 3 months, I have been under a great deal of stress and also lack of sleep. I am moderately active throughout the day, going up and downstairs and just general everyday activity.

I have noticed that both my Blood pressure (normally below 115/70) is now running higher too. Lately my heart rate can be as high as 115 and low as 76. My blood pressure is around 125/80 to 138/80.

Please tell me other that losing weight, and destressing, is this within considered out of normal range. I am 43 years old.

Thank you, would prefer serious answers from docs expeciallt cardio docs.

"The fact that coronary atherosclerosis gets worse just as fats or faster when cholesterol goes DOWN as when it goes up, the OPPOSITE of exposure-response should have led scientists to question the whole Lipid Hypothesis"

- Dr. Uffe Ravnskov

THIS FACT ALONE is enough to DISprove the Lipid Hypothesis. Just ONE valid contradiction or proof against a hypothesis is enough to DISprove it and DIScard it.

And The Lipid Hypothesis has MANY proofs against it. That was just one example.

Were you aware of this little known fact?

And he has been having his nebulizer breathing treatments for about every 30 minutes or so...he woke me up 3 time last night just to have another breathing treatment, and they were all around the same time......if there is a nurse or anyone who can help me please answer. My father says there is nothing we can do, but I think he should go to the hospital. He is okay for now as long as he has his treatments but, he says this is the worst it has ever been, should he go to the doctor now? Is there something that can be done, or does it just come since he has Congestive Heart Failure?

My dad has a heart condition where his heart literally stops. My cousin does also (his oldest brother's daughter). He's been through many tests, but no medication. I've noticed before, but last night I put my fingers to my neck and I could count to four (slow one-one thousand, two one thousand) before it would start beating again. It does this about every 5th beat. I have severe headaches, and my eye doctor told me once when I complained of a "curtain" going down over my eyes making things black, that I might have problems with my blood flow. My fingers and toes are always cold, and sometimes my finger nails are purple.
So my question is, what is it, could it be the cause of my headaches, and could it be hereditary?

The medical communities myopathic obsession with cholesterol and the false disproven scientifically unsupported Lipid Hypothesis , is the reason the AGE ADJUSTED INCIDENCE OF CORONARY HEART DISEASE HAS NOT DECLINED ONE IOTA IN THE LAST 40 YEARS.

- while the REAL killers crawl on by unnoticed.

change the out come of a would be heart attack or stroke, and how long if possible would it take your body to clear the blockage , with your help and change of life style, I some how feel that to many people just wait and do nothing thinking a open heart repair will make them as good as new, but from what i have seen it only adds more health problems due to the amout of drugs a person must take every day after getting the open heart repair,I know we most all realize the heart problems come from what we eat and being to lazy and not working off the bad stuff, so why can't a person change their own heart health in a short amount of time just by changing their thinking and eating / plus working a little harder???

Usually these occur when I bend over. Sometimes they last 5 minutes and sometimes longer. I went to a doctor and they did some tests and said my heart is fine but I know it isn't. I feel like I am gonna faint and I get short of breathe when it happens. I just feel like my heart is in my throat ready to come out. My heart beats so bad I can put a pillow on my chest and see is move. And when I breathe out you can hear my breathe pounding even though all I am doing is breathing out. I was just wondering if there is anyone out there with these same symptoms?
