If you give me his height I can answer you:)

Hi again. I looked in my pediatric book.
The average is 118/62 but anything between 90/40 and 140/80 is considered within normal range.

Blood pressure measurements don't count for anything if you've been walking around. Ideally, you should be sitting down for at least 5 minutes or so. Blood pressure also can vary during the day, so it's best to get measurements from similar times during the day. No caffeine in the morning either. These measurements should be repeated on a few separate occasions. Some people get "white coat hypertension" when they go to the doctor's office because they are nervous. Probably blood pressure medicines wouldn't kill you. But you don't necessarily need blood pressure medicines if your blood pressure is only high while active. When doctors study the effects of high blood pressure, they study the effects of people who are diagnosed with it as described above. You are probably at no higher cardiac risk from your blood pressure.

A 12 y/o Blood pressure should be around that of an adults 120/80 anything under 90 systolic (the first number) is considered hypotensive (low blood pressure). It also depends on the child's body weight and height.

"normal" blood pressure is age and conditioning adjusted, and is generally lower in children than adults. An athlete's B/P is lower than nonathletic.
115/52 sounds like it was done with an electronic cuff possibly self tested which has many variations in accuracy, using an old fashion cuff would only deliver "even number" results.
Overall 100-130 as top number and 60-80 as bottom number is good. If the cuff is too large or too small (they do come in different sizes), the reading will be inaccurate. Also, nervousness, giddiness, pain, activity immediately before test can all impact results as well as being thirsty.
115/52 should be fine for a 12 yr old boy. Kids generally run 80-110 on top and 50- high 70's on bottom.
