I am 30 years old, weigh 125 lbs, now. I lost 22 when i got sick. I don't do drugs and I work out and eat healthy. I ended up in the hospital with blood pressure of 280/145, the ER gave me nitroglycerine to stop a heart attack. I am currently taking 60 mg of lisiniprel and they did ultrasounds, bloodwork, cat scans, mri's, the works during my ten day stay. No answers from anyone. I have a 7 yr old daughter who is very worried. if you have any suggestions, please feel free to send it! I hate living like this. My 7 yr old daughter is getting the crappy end of this. Thank you if you have any suggestions or if you just took the time to read this.

My mother has had some issues arise with her health, since beginning the use of Coreg. Her white bone marrow cells are dropping and she is showing a loss in her kidney functions. Also she is showing in her blood work that anemia is creeping up on her. She is acting as if she may be allergic to this medication. Mom has reacted to Lumigan(which is also a beta blocker). Within six months of using lumigan, she was nearly blind in her. Her eye Dr. Put her on a different medication and the sight came back. She is allergic to the beta blocker(lumigan). after reasearching the beta blocker, coreg, I now see the possibility of her being allergic to the heart failure drug,Coreg.
We will be seeing her Dr. in a couple of days and would like a suggestion as to what might replace the Coreg should the Dr. agree that this is possible.

My resting heart rate is usually 55-65. It says on the internet that this could be a sign of Bradycardia. I am not overly concerned about this, I just wondered if a low resting heart rate could indicate fitness as well as a heart problem?

I excercise for about 1-2 hours every day, and complete a 14 mile run once a week currently. (with shorter runs and bike rides in between)

My BMI is 24.5 and falling.

It's good and strong for three beats then dissapears for several beats, then comes back again. What does this mean? My daughter tells me that hers does the same thing. But is steady at the end.

every time i eat fatty foods my chest hurts, i used to eat a lot of fatty foodsand fried foods, i also smoke. when i exercise and eat fatty foods, it don't hurt or when i'm working, which is physical work, can any one give me some insight on this? is it a heart problem or anything related to it? i'm slowing up on fried and fatty foods, i eat a lot of boiled foods and cut down on pork also. i will be going to the doctor monday. i hope its not anything serious,
i have a four month old grandson and i would like to be around to see him grow up, among other things. so if someone could give me tips on how to eat healthier and tell me any kind of oils if any, that has less fats, i'll be grateful.

Ive been experiencing heart palps for a few years. I started getting them particularly bad after I stayed up late the previous night drinking (not smart I know) anyways my dad has Wolff-Parkinson-White and when I went to the emergency room the doc printed out some stuff from the EKG or ECG or whatever I was strapped up to and said it looked like I had WPW and gave me a prescription for beta-blockers and a number to a good cardiologist to go see. I know I probably should be asking him, im gonna call tomorrow and set up an appointment but I was just wondering do I need to stay on these things all the time? I mean im gonna take them till I see the doc but since I can usually go months without having any palps at all what are the chances im gonna be taking these things full time? I just dont like the idea of taking any drug full time unless I really have to, just wondering if anyone had a similar experience.
