If I understand correctly, one od the valves in your heart doesn't close all the way. It closes most of the way but some of the blood cells can still get through when it is closed. At this point in time it is a mild issue and can go without being corrected. But it could develop into something more serious and needs to be monitired incase it does require surgery.

You have a leaky heart valve, this can be a very big problem depending on the severity. It also depends on which valve is leaking. They have many tests and things they can do to try and correct the problem. All you need to do is start eating better, exercise, and do exactly what the doctor tells you.

your heart has 4 chambers and 4 valves to keep the blood flowing all one way. your valves are sloppy and don't close tight enough. So with every heart beat, a little blood gets pushed back into the chamber it came from. you lose some pressure and pump a few drops less blood with every pump. if you aren't losing enough pressure to be tired all the time or lose your breath alot... then your body is fine with the small pressure loss and you just have to be aware that you have that in case it gets worse.
