If you have a heart attack and go to long with out oxygen to the brain, and you are dying in the hospital, which sense is the last to go?

hearing is the very last thing to go. thats why they tell you to still talk to someone who is in a coma. many of them can still here you when you talk. there are actually surveys that show that some coma patients will wake up and remember things people said.

Hearing is the last of the senses to go. That is why you have to be very careful what you say within earshot of a dying person. If you have a dying family member, even someone who is not responsive, speak to the person up until the moment they pass away, so that they will be aware of your presence and love.
