Hello, over the last 7 years i have had heart skips and flops and have gone through 3 kids with this. I have had a ekg but nothing else done.(ekg was fine) I ask many Drs(3) if i was okay and they all say the same. Yes. I went to the ER today for another issue and they listen to my heart and said i have a heart murmur and ask what type it was. This got me kind of worried and I said i dont know because i never had to really looked at. My question is my Dr told me since i've been this long with it and gone through child birth 3 times im pretty safe and i would have really known at pregnancy, do you think she is right? I am kind of worry about things alot. Thanks very much for looking.

My Aunty has heart disease, she has had 2 mild heart attacks and 2 open heart surguries. She is getting worse by time and is only 50years of age. Yesterday she found out from her doctor that she is now bleeding into her heart. is there anything that can be done for her? If not how long will she live? Her doctor said if you look after yourself i will look after you, we take that as nothing can be done. Please let me know what you think...Thanks

Due 2 fluid acumulatd in cavity srrnding heart, pain persists in chest area after 2 mnths of angioplasty.Help!?
Angioplasty performed(successfully) after detection of blockage in two coronary arteries.Something went wrong & blood started accumulating in the heart which was extracted through injections and syringes for over 36 hrs. But,after the blood was reinjected in the body, via the wrist vein, the fluid kept accumulating, which was drained out gradually.Even then, after medications, some fluid is still visible in the cavity surrounding heart which causes CONSTANT pain, even after two months of angioplasty.Doctor remains baffled and helpless.Recommends steroids which have already started showing side effects. Can anybody please help or suggest some alternate remedy/doctor?

(Please read all the way through before answering thanks)The doctor told me when I got a check up that I had an inncocent murmur. It scared me.I had never been told that I had a murmur before. They assured me that it wasn't anything. Both doctors that I had seen told me that.I also hear my pulse in my ears which that was why I was there to start with. Its a pathological condition but I can still hear my heartbeat. It has worried me so much that I lay around and don't do the things I used to and out of shape now.If I get up and get doing things I get out of breath and tired. We live in an high altitude which i didnt have problems with breathing until I found that I had am murmur.I never breathe hard.Is it the fact that I have lain around for two months why im feeling out of breath and tired or could it be that my heart has a worst condition. Also was diagnosed Post Tramatic Stress.depression makes you tired too?

My father had a very difficult time deciding to go ahead with his triple heart by pass as my mother (his wife of 44 years) had been admitted into a hospice after battling melanoma cancer for 8 years. On the morning my father was taken away for surgergy my mother passed away. My father awoke from surgery to be informed Mum had passed. He has always been a very fit man his whole life and is continuing to exercise however the complexity of his situation has meant that he is often lacking energy probably suffering a little depression not that he would ever say that. He also suffered a virus and infection in the lung which delayed his recovery further. He is desperate to find a book that gives you a guide on how far you can push exercise after open heart surgery as he is keen to get back into it but does not feel his body is up for it which I believe is more psychological than physical. Does anyone have any books they could recommend on this subject???

We are desperately looking for a non-invasive, non-interventional cardiologist. We need a doctor that prescribes non-invasive treatment, instead of surgery or interventional procedures.

Thank you for your help.

I'm 20 years old and I was born with heart disease which has given me a right pulminary stinosis, asd/vsd, heart murmur, my sats stay from 75-80 and when I was a baby the doctors messed up my left lung and so now I only have one lung. my question is that my cardiologist insisted that I'm still able to have kids. I DO NOT want any at all though. I'm only saying this because I believe that it'd be to risky for me. I just want someone to tell me I'm right!! she can't be telling the truth can she? I'm curious. I have serious heart problems and she's telling me this! if a doctor answers then you will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
