has anyone been diagnosed with svt, had cardial ablation and after a few years have it return? I had the ablation 7 years ago january and now i have been having more severe symptoms than when i originally had the surgery. just wondering if this has happened to anyone and any new treatments or surgeries that may have worked for you. my surgery went fine, no problems during or after, so i was also wondering if it can pop up in a different spot. all answers are greatly appreciated.

i got a report from the lab after some discomfort that i showed a past myocardia infarction. i didn't even know what that meant. didn't ask and doc didn't take a moment to explain. assumed i understood. i chanced to look it up on the web and was surprized. asked my family doctor who had failed to read the report as well. i had felt pressure from time to time but never had intense pain they say comes with a heart attack. cardio man and gp said it must have been a silent attack while i was asleep. docs have that thin red line like cops have the thin blue line. i now do not trust any of them. they have sneaky looks and i sometimes suspect they carved me up with a four-way bypass and a subsequent mountain of pills and bills and they were partially or altogether motivated by economics of a heart speciality heart hospital. i met one caring old nurse in icu.. also got a "care bear" as a parting gift. grandma died well. mother is close. now me.

My mom had a mini stroke 3 months ago. She has very high blood pressure but she is on major meds for that. Her blood pressure is 147/85 . In the last three months my mom has under gone every test that Kaiser knows about to figure out why she is tingling in her her left side of her face, arm, and leg. They finally said they can do nothing more for her and to just come back in six month. Meanwhile, my Mom is constantly tingling in her legs and it sometimes goes into her arms and face. I am VERY worried about my Mom. She is 55 and has a history of hypertension where it reached 210/109 and she has high cholestrol too. I want her to be seen at UCLA but I do not know if Kaiser will pay for a second opinion. Has anyone being dealing with these health issues or have known anyone that have had these similar issues. Any help or direction would be greatly apprieciated. I am sooooo close with My Mom and I am very worried about her.
Thank you so much any help you can give me.

Hello, over the last 7 years i have had heart skips and flops and have gone through 3 kids with this. I have had a ekg but nothing else done.(ekg was fine) I ask many Drs(3) if i was okay and they all say the same. Yes. I went to the ER today for another issue and they listen to my heart and said i have a heart murmur and ask what type it was. This got me kind of worried and I said i dont know because i never had to really looked at. My question is my Dr told me since i've been this long with it and gone through child birth 3 times im pretty safe and i would have really known at pregnancy, do you think she is right? I am kind of worry about things alot. Thanks very much for looking.
