Hi there ?
what exactly you want to know about "hypertension" ?
Now as per the latest definitions, at any age, the individual will have to maintain the Blood Pressure at around 120-130 systolic pressure and 80-90 diastolic pressure.
Previously, the concept was that, as the age increases the pressure also will increase and hence it is "okay" if the pressure is maintained at around 150/100 for old people !
But latest trends, and concepte are changing !
It has been proved that , if you maintain the BP at around 120/80 or 130/90 , the cardiac complications due to hypertension can be made very negligible !
How to do that is the golden question : by medications, regular exercises, salt intake restriction , fat intake restriction, etc will help us a lot to achieve that !
Best wishes !
