I heard at times, if you have a irregular heart beat, it can correct it. They say you should cough a lot if you think you are having a heart attack. I'm not sure if their is any proof to this, but people believe this.

yes, it really is. thats the only way to help yourself in case of a heart attack. you have to cough really hard, so that it hurts in your lungs. the pressure will help to beat your heart and keeps yourself alive.

it may be a sign to anything or nothing ...so don't jump to conclusions but it sure maybe a symptom to T.B.......if it persists for a week-10 days or so ......if so........ consult a Doctor
