Please can someone give me a solution. My friend who is only 22 years old has a heart condition in which his heart simply beats way too fast. He is a healthy individual who doesn't smoke or drink & he excercises regularily. He doesn't want to go on medication... is there any other way he can cure this. He has already had one "attack" & he always gets nose bleeds & headaches etc. Please could someone let me know what he can do to prevent this getting worse... I'm worried about what might happen if he just leaves it.

My husband has the same problem, he is 6 kg overweight. I have read that the chances of a stroke is high in the mornings. We don't want to take beta-blockers because of the side effects. Can anyone help?

Are there any studies related about Muscle Milk and its side affects? Can this drink really be dangerous to our health or not likely? Please share your input.

I keep quite a lot of palpitations and chest pain on the right side which is sometimes also on my right arm.. is there any way at all this could be related to the heart? I had a doctor listen to my heart twice 2 years ago.. the first time brought out a murmer and I had a chest x ray(which was okay).. the second time it wasn’t there.. so she just shrugged it off as a inocent murmer…. Which means really.. there is still a 50% chance that its not innocent.. ( my aunt does have one ).. I do have anxiety but a lot of the time Im completely relaxed when the palpitations occur – and the pain is usually when im in bed so im not excersizing…. Im slim weight, don’t drink/smoke, but do eat a *LOT* of salty and fatty foods.
My resting relaxed heart rate is on average - 77bpm

Any ideas?

Can you tell im a bit of a hypocodriac!?!!?!

Oh and also im 17... and my grandad has strokes, as well as my aunts murmer - heart problems could be in the family...

(sorry!)

His father had open heart surgery when he was 25 years old, his grandma had open heart surgery 2 times and his grandpa had a triple bi pass surgery. I have the EKG results here and the numbers at the top are as follows: Vent. rate 63 bpm, PR interval 122ms, QRS duration 104ms, QT/QTc 386/395ms, P-R-T axes -5 77 57...what do these numbers mean....

I've already asked a similar question, but i don't think i was being specific enough. I know it gets passed down through females, but only affects males. What i WANT to know is what gene is it exactly?

I suffer from panic attacks but this morning had a real scare. I woke up in a panic n thinking it s my asthma popped some ventolin and atrovent into a nebuliser. Next thing i know my heart i beating so fast i was turning blue n thought i was going to have a heart attack! we stopped the drugs n my fiance called an ambulance n when they finally arrived about 15 minutes later!! my pulse had slowed n i was regaining colour.. they gave me some oxygen n decided i was ok to stay at home but my gp will be round later. has anyone else experienced a panic attack /tachycardia like this? is it likely to happen so badly again?

For the last couple of weeks the achs and pains I'm getting in my chest, arms, and neck is becoming more regular. I do have acid reflux and I am not sure if its gas or symtoms of a heart attack. Now its starting to keep me awake at night. I have been to the doctor before and they found nothing. Its very confusing wondering whether its gas or not!!!!!!

I was sitting down, I ate dinner 1 hour ago. So I felt good, when my heart starts pounding really fast. I actually thought it was going to come out but at the same time I did not experience any pain. This has happened to me a couple of times, not a lot of times but without pain. But this one felt a little bit longer and stronger but without pain. Im still a little bit freaked about this.
