Ok, those were some good answers to attempt to lower your blood pressure. But why would you want to "Fake" a lower blood pressure? In order to be diagnosed with hypertension you need to have three readings spread over different times. Not just one reading. Hypertension is a serious disease with serious consequences: strokes, heart failure, kidney failure to name a few.

Actually you CAN lower your readings...
a cuff that is too large can result in a lower reading.
also, wearing clothing while bp is measured can result in a lower reading.
oh, and taking bp standing up can cause a lower reading.

You should maybe think about not faking a lower pressure, though. Getting treated for high blood pressure is important to preserve kidney function and other critical health factors.....

First of all, despite what you see in movies and TV there is absolutely no requirement that your rights be read to you upon arrest. Miranda only applies when you are in custody AND being questioned. If the officers aren't quesitoning you, then they don't need to read your rights. Second, even if Miranda should have been read but wasn't, the only consequence is that whatever your husband told the police would be inadmissible. It does NOT mean the whole case is thrown out. Blood-alcohol levels, accident scene information, observations by the police officer, witness statements, etc. would all still be available for use in any criminal prosecution.

You don't manipulate a sphygmomanometer. It is a machine in which the provider controls. If you want, you could stop your heart if you know how to do that and then your reading would be 0/0.

What kind of question is this? How about not eating salt and unhealthy foods, and then your reading will be what you want it to be?

You can't because a trained professional is able to tell the reading by simply looking at the gauge. The cuff even indicates where to line it up so that they are lined up on the artery. You can also hear when the artery collapses through the stethoscope.
