COULD I HAVE DIABETES? I TOLD MY DADS GIRLFRIEND IM ALWAYS THRISTY, SOMETIMES I FEEL MY HEART SKIPPING BEATS (ABOUT EVERY ONCE A MONTH), I GET SHARP PAINS IN MY CHEST (MY AUNT SAYS ITS GAS) AND HERE ARE MORE THINGS:

1. I'm always thirsty, I get dehydrated quickly.
2. I have good eyesight.
3. Sometimes my hip will start hurting really bad for no reason.
4. I eat junk food alot.
5. I love candy, I eat it alootttttt.
6. I break out in rashes, and my face and legs are sensitive to rashes and stuff.

Hello - I started taking 2 Metformin @ 500mg each and 1 Glipizide 10mg each yesterday. I took my first dose of Metformin and Glipizide around 9:30am this morning. At 2pm my blood sugar was around 71, so I figured I'd better eat something before I started floppin around on the ground. Well it's 3:50pm now, just got back and my blood sugar is at 214, would it be safe to take my 2nd dose of Metformin and Glipizide now?

but could you tell me if it affects your reflexes,as he doesnt put his arms out to save himself when he loses his balance, im so worried about him as he lives alone, and never likes to accept help, the doctors dont seem to know the answer to any of the questions he asks and he feels so alone, i dont know what 2 do 4 the best, please help....

Floaters or black spots are part of my vision since a long time ago. I think it got a littler worse over a year ago. Which, my understanding these things with other related symptoms can be diabetes. I am pre-diabetic. Today something weird happened. My vision in my left eye, I could not see. It came back after 20 mins. It is scary. I also have sharp pain in my fingers and toes, sometimes I loose feelings in my fingertip. I am finally seeing an endo, but my appointment is next week. Other doctors were telling me that I am not advanced and nothing can be done. Are the above symptoms strong enough to ask the doctor for help?

i just found out that i have diabetes and i checked everyone in the house. My 12yr olds was 70. I know this is too low for me and must get it up. But is this normal for a kid.

Dr. recommended Lipitor or Zocor, and a mild blood pressure med, even tho cholesterol and blood pressure are normal. Says studies now show that diabetics should have lower limits than non-diabetic. Says studies show cholesterol meds can coat the blood vessels and prevent heart and stroke issues, even if cholesterol readings are normal. Says mild dose of blood pressure meds also will help prevent issues with blockages in the kidneys. Also recommended 81mg aspirin every other day. No heart issues ever, 58 yr old man on insulin, Humalog and Lantis, not controlled to normal levels. Normal A1c, and normal liver enzyme levels.
Is this a new treatment philosophy?

chef boyardee has 900 mg of sodium in one can that is 40 percent of ur daily value, im sure they could make one with 250 mg of sodium if they wanted to. progresso soups have 1100 mg of sodium in one can i know they have reduce sodium soups. i am 17 and already have high blood pressure due to being brought up on these items. my blood pressure is now 150 over 90 is that really bad? if i diet and exercise will it go down?
