Yes! It may be a natural sugar, but it is still sugar. My doctor wants me to avoid honey completely. It's good if your sugar level is very low and needs to come up quickly, but it is not good for a diabetic trying to control their sugar levels.

It's all about carbs-not sugar.Sugar does have loads of carbs.
Honey is like liquid sugar and will raise blood sugar faster than sugar.
Count your carbs.Treat with medication, exercises ,and diet.
Check your sugar often.

of course, just remeber if its sweet, it will raise your level. eat a protien with your carbs, keep levels regulated.
