Have you ever taken too much insulin and had your heart race and your throat get halfway closed up, almost like anaphylactic shock?

I had a similiar reaction and I think it was from too much insulin.

She pretends to have a balanced diet. But really she eats a extrasweet coffee, lot of cookies, chocolates, cakes.
And when it's time for a regular meal she eats few vegetables and lemonade.
Does this diet do good for her body?

I was told by a Dr that I should not have a job (cashier, retail) that involves standing for more than a 4 hour stretch. Now - I am new to diabetes, but I have read that foot and leg problems are common. Is he putting me on? My job as a cashier is just a 2nd job - no problem there, I will quit......but - man - that really limits me.

my aunt has been suffering from diabetes for most of her life. unfortunately she hasn't been able to maintain her disease and is constantly suffering from complications. it has gotten to the point now that she needs constant supervision from medical professionals-and she needs to be placed in a home. she is very stubborn so it is hard to find an adequate place for her. any suggestions? anything will help!

The reason I wanted to know is that I have low blood sugar...
and I took sick a while back and the doctor put me on some
meds that made my sugar go up and than he had to give me

Recently I heard of somebody who has done something really quite out of character, and this person has at the moment severe diabetes that has them not being able to work, on doctor's orders. I don't want to go into details but they basically have shut out all but a few people from their life, including their spouse. Could this be diabetes or depression or something else?

Every now and then, I get really blurry vision and I feel really out of it. It's usually followed by a really bad migraine but not always. It has been happening more and more lately, especially after I eat. My friend suggested that it may be due to high blood sugar. Do you think that this is the case? Has anyone ever experienced these symptoms? I did some research on WebMD but I really don't know what it could be.
