Every now and then, I get really blurry vision and I feel really out of it. It's usually followed by a really bad migraine but not always. It has been happening more and more lately, especially after I eat. My friend suggested that it may be due to high blood sugar. Do you think that this is the case? Has anyone ever experienced these symptoms? I did some research on WebMD but I really don't know what it could be.

It could be diabetes, you didnt mention what were the meals you ate if they were high in carbs and sugar- and do you drink sugared drinks or alcohol?

You should see your doctor and he will do a fasting blood sugar test which will determine if you have any form of diabetes. Your symptoms do sound like diabetes- I too am a diabetic. Until you get to see him/her, cut out sugar from your diet- eat only good carbs and do not drink sugared drinks. Good luck!!

I asked my mother-in-law who has diabetes and she said that it may be caused by certain types of food. Try your doctor and see what they have to say about it. Blurry vision and migraines are not fun!

It is not unusual for diabetics to experience a shift in visual acquity. It often corresponds to changes in sugar levels. Sugar metabolism affects water retention, which changes within the eye. It's important to maintain normal fluid control.

These symptoms can occur for many reasons like poison on your skin. If it is not prolonged don't worry just stand still or park the car safely.
