I have heard that coffee and wine - in moderation are good for diabetics. Do you drink them - if so - how much?

I think you have to let your sugar levels answer this question for you. I test higher levels after a cup of coffee sometimes then if I eat a slice of white bread. Some of my diabetic friends show no change at all.

You have to know how it affects you as an individual. The only way is to test yourself.

A small glass of wine does not affect my sugar at all. However more then one, and I see a slight increase, but nothing compared to a cup of coffee.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

It is more what tastes good to the individual, some people like sour foods, some like sweet, some like spicy, each person has different likes and dislikes, an acquired taste is something a person did not like at first but developed the ability to eat or drink it. I do not like hot tea, coffee, or even many cold teas and not cold coffee, but some people enjoy these, will I acquire a taste for these, not unless I really go against my taste buds. If something tastes good I drink it, if not forget it. Actually some wine coolers I loved the first time I had them, as well as some mixed drinks.

I drink coffee like a madman. It's good because it is a diuretic. It helps flush out your kidneys. There's nothing worse than letting sugar sit in your bladder. Keep the kidneys purged because no matter how good of control you have, we all know its bullshitt.
Anybody that has tight control will constantly be going hypo and losing brain cells. It's better to run a little high and have some reserve sugar in your blood.

Alcohol metabolizes into sugar and can raise your blood sugar. They don't recommend that diabetics drink any alcohol. Coffee I'm not sure. You should ask your doctor or nutritionist.
