The Northwest part of town would be great but I would be willing to drive, say, 10-15 miles for a good one. Thanks

I keep getting migraines and a friend said that i might check into seeing if i might have diabetes. Do headaches link to diabetes.

I have type II diabetes. The first time I checked it with a meter it was 315 and it was a few hrs after eating at night. That happened last week. This morning I checked first thing in the morning and it was 219. It scared me when I have not eaten a thing. I have been watching my diet very carefully. What do you think I should do, or how long should it take to come down to normal? I also had a headache this morning before I check it and my stomach was bothering me all day today.

I see that a U.S. federal judge ruled on February 21, 2006 in favor of Takeda Pharmaceuticals North America, Inc. that a patent
covering the active ingredient of ACTOS is valid and enforceable through 2011. Yet this drug has been on the market since 1999 and has generated billions of dollars in profit but yet probably only cost them a billion dollars tops to get to market.

Why am I, under a typical insurance plan, paying $5 per pill (day) because it is a Brand name drug rather than $20 copay for generics. This is obsurd given that 30 million perscriptions have been written for this drug and that 20 million Americans have diabetes.

Does anyone know how they were able to renew this patent which is not typical? Does anyone know of a reliable foreign online pharmacy that sells Pioglitazone?

Everywhere I turn there's another bowl of glucose rising treats. So my question is what do my fellow diabetics do in such a situation? Do you have super extreme willpower and pass up the tasty treats? Or do you say screw it and take some quick acting insulin to counter the 4 fun size twix bars you just ate? Type 2’s, do you just indulge and let yourself ride high for a little while?
