Good grief you morons "the loo" is the bathroom. I am an American and I know that much. I have never heard it called diabetes reflux but I am guessing that is another countries way of saying Type I or II diabetes. They are doing a fasting glucose test on her. A hemoglobin A1C test will give you the average of the blood sugar level over the last three months. If they regulate her by medication then she will be fine as long as she follows her diet and medication order.

You won't find many good doctors here.... some quacks, maybe. Put your mouse pointer over my picture to see how long I've been here. You can probably guess from those numbers that I know a little bit about Yahoo Answers.

What you will find here, are a few people who have done lots of research on the subject. If it turns out she has diabetes, it will do both of you a lot of good to learn as much as you can on the subject. Read the part under type 1 diabetes on my webpage....

Never heard of "diabetes reflux." But that sounds like a symptom of diabetes. Having to go to the bathroom a lot, always thirsty, reoccurring yeast infections....all are symptoms. Wait to see what the results are before you get upset. Diabetes is treatable.

The problem with limiting answers to doctors only is that obviously they do not know that a loo is a toilet that your daughter is frequently urinating in.

It appears you have been reading too many cartoons. None of us doctors know what a "loo" is. Nor do we know what "diabetes reflux" is.

Do a little reading up on the subject and get back to us when you can ask the question.

Well, you people dissin' us doctors for not know what a loo is,
THIS IS FRIKKIN' YAHOO USA VERSION! If you want to communicate with us, use our terms for the bathroom like: crapper, throne, porclain god, pooper, shitter, can, etc.

i dont know what you mean by the "loo",
but it sounds like they are going to test her fasting blood sugar or do a glucose tolerance test to see her sugar levels.
