I am very sorry to hear that. There are many organisations that can advise you on your diet. Try:

www.diabetes-insight.info

I wouldn't recommend you buy 'diabetic foods' from the supermarket though, because as well as being expensive, in order to remove the sugar, they have to increase the fat content, so they are not healthy.
Good luck. I wish you a long and healthy life. xxx

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Many common natural remedies are claimed to have blood sugar lowering properties that make them useful for people with or at high risk of diabetes. Learn here https://tr.im/osULk

A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.

The more you learn about this disease, the more you will understand that you can eat anything you want. It is a matter of counting carbs and medication.

Try a "welcome to diabetes 101 " class and read everything you can while paying attention to copy write dates. Diabetes care has changed so much in the past decade .It is completely different.
I wish you the best.

There is a lot of stuff on the internet that is basically fat-shaming diabetics for causing their own diabetes with their bad diet and lack of exercise and general lack of moral fibre. A lot of this stuff is written by non-doctors, often with a supplement or diet or training plan to sell that they claim will completely cure diabetes if only people stick to it.
I read this interesting book https://tr.im/wH1y5 that gave me a lot of useful tips about my disease and also a different perspective on the best therapeutical approach. I think you should read it too.

Diabetes is usually treated through a combination of diet (low sugar), exercise and medications/insulin. Milder cases can be controlled with just diet an/or exercise while more severe cases require meds or insulin as well.

'diabetic' recipes are recipes for healthy food. these are low in fat, high in fibre, and vegetarian food is perfect for diabetics as it is very healthy. now there is a HUGH difference between vegans and vegetarians so you must make sure you know what she prefers!! as a vegetarian person with diabetes, i like to make grilled haloumi (hard cheese) with spinach salad (spinach leaves, cucumber bits, tomato bits, avocado bits, pan fried pine nuts -just throw in pan without oil and fry for 2 minutes until brown- and boccocini cheese toss with balsamic vinegar). you could grill large bits of red pepper (no oil needed really) and grill fresh asperagus, toss in a little olive oil with salt and pepper and dried parsley. i also like to grill large mushrooms (whole and no oil) and i eat it with a variety of bread rolls or brown pitta bread or so. good luck and enjoy
