if no 1 in ur family has had cancer what r the chances of u getting it while ur a teen?

sypmtoms. I lhave ovarian cancer and I have had somebody on here compare my symptoms with her son, that soulds pathetic. SI was told by a cancer nurse that every symptoms are going to be differnet for everybody. Like with my cancer I have bad back pain, tiredness, losing my apppititie, blaoting, soimetimes craps in the abdomen, but becasue I do not have dirahea she tells me I do not have ovairain cancer. I told her I would be more than happy to send her my results. I know of someones mother who did of hte disease and in the latter stages like me she was getting thirsly a lot like I am. So I just want to get this clear everybody is diffent and thier ilness will not always be the same as everyone else. One of my spmtoms include something that is not mentioned in major symptoms, and was told by the doctor this symptom is all part of the desease. I just wished some people would stop canparing everyones illness to mine and my symptoms.

i just wanted to know if you would know you have cancer right away, like would you get sick or anything? or could you go on for a long long time and never know unless you went to a doctor and he found it out of no where?

and yes I do have it, I just did not openly admit if for personal reasons. I no know that this place is not ideal to ask more quesitons about this desieas called ovarian cancer, and Panda if you want me to send you the results I will just to shut you up. so peple have you found this site helpful. I have in a way, but now realsie that this is not the site to learn about my syptoms. and Panda go and goodle sypmtoms of ovarian cancer, it says back pain in the lower part, fatigue, bloating, loss of appitite, indigestion ect. These are the sypmotms. So people will will not be asking any more questions on here, instead I will be asking my doctor. Good luck to all you cancer pateints out there. I hope youmake a full recovery.

overies. I found it last night when I felt it in my lower pelvis, so did the doctor today. I had a CT scan yesterday, as it was in the afternoon. I go back to my doctors in Monday to see what stage it is. Now would I have recieved something in the mail now by the doctors clinic if it was bad or would they just fax the results to the doctors which they did yesterday, becasue on Monday is my appoitment and they will tell me there? I need your opinions here. Since they faxed it yesterday they have it now, and tomorrow being sunday they are closed. So does this mean I will find out Monday? Please help

perimenopause...CANNOT TAKE AN ESTROGEN...too much cancer on my mother's side....i have only had about 5 hot flashes which were not VERY BAD AT ALL...How worse will it get...and what do you recommend herbal wise for me to take daily????..also will i still be able to work????

I am recovering from cancer and currently in remission. What I have noticed in the last week is that I have bruising on my calf muscles where the top of my socks are. I know this sounds bizarre, but I have never really bruised easily - and yes I do have 'paranoia' about cancer returning - all perfectly normal. Does this bruising mean anything - and no, my socks are definitely not tight......

bloating, blood in the urine, ect like me, why does she get a stabbing pain around where the kidneys are? Like a sharp stabbing pain lasting for about 10-20 seconds around where the kidneys are. It has gone away now. But could this mean the cancer is spreading? I get a feeling it s. But I need to know your opionion about this. Would a ovarian cancer patient get stabbing pains that last for a short time around near the kidneys? Urgent advice.

My mom has only a few weeks to live and i have to move out of our home due to the recent "motgage market crash," but my 12month old boy is going through this "Seperation Anxiety" and i cant even stand up, us the restroom and eat. When i make HIM somthing to eat hes sreaming, and all i've eaten is the crust from the sanwitch i made him for lunch and just now for dinner. I cant stand to be around him, I DREAD TOMARROW. I am a stay at home mom and i havent had a break now since he was born, I get no help because my mom has been sick. I need to spend this time with my mother. I even called my husband at work and told him that i don't want the baby anymore... i know i'll regreat it later, but am i a bad mom?

I know a dude who had a cancer tuma in is esophogus and the took it out. The doc's say he has cancer cells in all is limpnodes* and now has to do radiation.

I recently noticed that one of my moles is more oddly shaped than it used to be, I only noticed this because it had a small scab on it. If it didn't have the scab I would have never noticed it, which really scares me that it's possibly maligment and I might have had it for a long time. How long does this cancer take to spread to deadly stages in the body????????

I have a friend who has CIN III (early stages on cervical cancer)and uses the solariums I belive that radiation (trust me they do give off radiation) from the solariums may affect the healing of these abnormal cells or make them worse, does anyone agree with this?? or have any other info ???

My friend is trying to send herself to hospital because her mom hits her and whatever.. and she's been to lawyers but they have no proof, and gabi wants to get out.. is there a way to be sent to the hospital ,or getting really sick easy?

My aunt has cancer and has chemo each week. I called her today and told her that I would like to visit with her for a couple of hours each day, just to keep her company. She loved the idea.
We plan to read and study the Bible together and I will help with cooking/shopping/cleaning.
Any suggestions on anything that I can do to help her to make this time in her life any easier.??

Cancer runs on my mothers side of the familly.



my mother's been getting pains around her abdomen area.
like a cramp like sensation. she's been gettiung them very frequent. she's taken a sonogram & is still waiting for the reqsults. in your opinion what does this sound like? or could possibly be?

When I was 15 I had cancer and I had extensive chemotherapy. Of course all my hair fell out during the course of chemo but when all the treatment had finished, my hair never grew back the way it was before.

I am now 22 and I feel fine. My hair grows but it is really thin and my scalp is always visible. I don't have any bald spots and none of my family have ever experienced baldness. I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this and is there any solution to make my hair grow stronger again.

My grandmother Sonia has cancer. I dont know what t do. I didnt expect it. I was sleeping in the back seat of the car and I woke when my mom was crying and explaining to the other people in the car what happened. She lives across the US from us. She was eating lunch with some friends and her face started melting. So they rushed her to the hospital, and they checked her and she has lung and brain cancer. She has 2 tumors in her brain and one in her heart. I'm praying that she will be ok. She sounds fine on the phone, bacause she is in the hospital. She is going through a few more tests right now and the doctors all ready said they know what they want to do with her surgery wise. I'm pretty sure she will be ok but I am so stressed out. If she doesnt doesnt make it out of surgery or if she does, she maybe cant fly out to visit anymore. The part the tumors attacked was her memory so if you say something to her she takes about 10 sec to respond and cant remember things.Helpful answers plz!
