Like with my cancer I have bad back pain, tiredness, losing my apppititie, blaoting, soimetimes craps in the abdomen, but becasue I do not have dirahea she tells me I do not have ovairain cancer. I told her I would be more than happy to send her my results. I know of someones mother who did of hte disease and in the latter stages like me she was getting thirsly a lot like I am. So I just want to get this clear everybody is diffent and thier ilness will not always be the same as everyone else. One of my spmtoms include something that is not mentioned in major symptoms, and was told by the doctor this symptom is all part of the desease. I just wished some people would stop canparing everyones illness to mine and my symptoms.

Each of us is an individual.

We all react differently both to our diseases and treatments.

Some of us show classic symptoms, others atypical symptoms.

There are around 200 different forms of cancer.

People can only advise us on what they have experienced

Good luck with your fight against this disease

That is very true. I don't have cancer or anything, but I had a stroke about 3 years ago. But I didn't have any of the normal symptoms or warning signs of a stroke. Usually people have blurring vision, their speech is slurred and some other stuff, but I had a seizure, actually 3, and they are rare I guess, that's just what I read. I also didn't have any of the risk factor for a stroke. I was 23 and healthy. I don't have anybody comparing themselves to me, because I don't really bring it up much. So I can't relate to that part. But it seems pretty ignorant to say that you must not have cancer because only one symptom doesn't fit. Anyway, good luck with that.

It is very sad that many people are not aware or educated about cancer. It's very sad to see some of these people work in the medical field.
When I first went to the hospital they told me to go home it was probably just a cyst...six weeks later I went in and found out I had cancer.
I tell everyone that if you even have and questions or doupts about your care given write a letter to the director to let them know what is going on. If they do not do anything write a letter to the AMA. It's very sad that some many people have left their doctors before not worried when they should have been.

Then stop posting questions... of course, people are going to compare and relate the only thing they have to share...their own experience. Thats just human nature...offer condolences and empathize with you and your problems. With all the other questions you have asked about cancer...if I were you...I would write these questions down and take them to your doc to answer. Keep a journal with you so you don' t forget to ask your onocologist.

I can understand why you are so frustrated but just try & understand that's it's because people aren't educated enough about it & i know how annoying it is when people who don't really know what they're talking about try & dictate to you. I had Cervical Cancer & the same thing happened to me, so in the end i just learned to "Switch Off" or i would've gone crazy! Just try to ignore them.
Good Luck~
