I go back to my doctors in Monday to see what stage it is. Now would I have recieved something in the mail now by the doctors clinic if it was bad or would they just fax the results to the doctors which they did yesterday, becasue on Monday is my appoitment and they will tell me there? I need your opinions here. Since they faxed it yesterday they have it now, and tomorrow being sunday they are closed. So does this mean I will find out Monday? Please help

this is for ovarian cancer. My lower back pain is not going away. It is ik one day and painful the next. My appititie is gone most of it anyway. And I am bloated in my stomache, and sometimes have period like cramps without a period, and get indigestion a lot when I eat. My periods are very irregular and my last one was very heavy, as that is unusual for me. I am tired and exhusted a lot. If the mass is cancerous I will deal with it.

They will only give the Dr's a report and let the Dr's tell you. I pray that it is not ovarian cancer. I just went through this scare myself and have to go back for another ultra sound on Thursday. I know you must be a little scared, mine turned out to be a cyst and no cancer. I am slowly getting my energy back. you didn't say, did they run a blood test on you called c125 I believe anyway that test tells you if there is cancer present. My numbers came back real low on that test and the Dr's said it would be a lot higher if it were. so now to find out what is causing the pain I am just relieved that it is not cancer. hold on and take someone with you when you go on Monday two sets of ears is a lot better than one. That way you wont miss anything they say. Good luck

Ovarian cysts are more common than ovarian cancer, and cause much the same symptoms.

Only your Dr will be told the resuldts of your test, he will then tell you.

Often test results are subject to medical interpretation so they are not normally given direct to the patient without interpretation.

Hopefully Monday will be good news!

What I have to say is that this time the only thing that we can say for sure is that you are having ovarian mass. Now ovarian masses can be of varied types and unless investigations are complete we can not say for sure what it is. Those investigations will cinch the diagnosis.
Also many benign ovarian masses or cysts give exactly same type of symptoms and they get fine with surgery.
Even Malignant masses can be cured with surgery followed by chemo-radio treatment.

Hope for the best. God is great.

People have answered this same question repeatedly. From your previous descriptions you do not have ovarian or bowel cancer or probably any type of cancer at all. You definitely do need to go see a doctor though. Good luck.

You have now asked this question at least 20 times or more.

it may not be cancerous and i hope it is not. i imagine if it was your doctor would have contacted you immeadiately when he received it unless the office was closed. if so just ring for your results the instant he is there again. hope all goes well. i find out on wednesday if an ovarian mass i am having removed is cancer. one day feels like one week. i know it is hard to stay calm but please keep in mind even if it is cancer it does not mean it can not be dealt with. many, many people recover and stay cancer free. if you would like to instant message me with your results either way you are more than welcome. take care.

It can take a few days for any result to be delivered to your Dr and it is up to your Gp to inform you of the result depending of the Dr they usualy do not notify by phone unless the result is a concern how ever I hope the results are not a concern and all is well good luck
