When I was 15 I had cancer and I had extensive chemotherapy. Of course all my hair fell out during the course of chemo but when all the treatment had finished, my hair never grew back the way it was before.

I am now 22 and I feel fine. My hair grows but it is really thin and my scalp is always visible. I don't have any bald spots and none of my family have ever experienced baldness. I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this and is there any solution to make my hair grow stronger again.

Thanks for any help.

The first thing you need is a good quality Multi vitamin to supply the hair follicles the much needed vitamins and minerals to help them grow strong and healthy. I advise drinking mineral water every day as this will replace the minerals that your hair needs.

Purchase a rubber scalp massager and use it five minutes every day. This is going to stimulate the scalp and help with the hair growth.

I have no experience of hair loss after chemotherapy. But, Just over a year ago my sister suffered mild, stress related alopecia and lost a significant amount of hair leaving it look very thin. She had always had reaonably thick hair before.

I remembered once hearing somebody suggesting taking a sea kelp supplement to promote hair growth. She tried it and it seemed to work wonders. Obviously, it takes patience as hair doesn't just grow over night. But, before long her hair was restored to it's former glory.

I also know several people who wear hair extension regularly, which thins out their hair. They all swear by sea kelp.
