I recently noticed that one of my moles is more oddly shaped than it used to be, I only noticed this because it had a small scab on it. If it didn't have the scab I would have never noticed it, which really scares me that it's possibly maligment and I might have had it for a long time. How long does this cancer take to spread to deadly stages in the body????????

Get it checked by your Dr and set your mind at rest.

If it is a raised mole and in a position where it gets knocked and this is why it has a scab, he may suggest removing it as a precaution.

I think the most important thing is for you to have this worry put to rest asap. We here can't say...but for your peace of mind, go to a doctor asap and have it checked (maybe removed too). It may turn out to be nothing (I had some scares too, when either I or the doctor thought something was wrong -the biopsy showed differently).
