He is only 55 years old, but has diabetis. The cancer is only in the liver and has already blocked his right portal vein. The left one is almost blocked. So, even the chemo might not even treat it ...

She's the bravest lady I know, she's 74 and wonderful. Unfortunately, this past week she had to have her yearly mammogram, they also did a sonogram just to be sure, and the doctor found a lump that he is 99.9% positive cancerous. She had a lump removed 6 years ago and has been cancer-free until now.
Right now there's not a whole lot happening; she has a biopsy this coming Monday, then after that they'll do an MRI to see where the cancer is, if it has spread. Sooner or later she will have surgery, and perhaps radiation or chemo. That part remains to be seen.

When this happened in 2000, I wasn't here, I was in Venezuela. I didn't even know about it until after she'd had the surgery and was recovering since my parents didn't tell me; they didn't want me to cancel my trip. So now I don't know what to do exactly to help her with this... she told me not to "hover", yet I'm sure she needs some distraction in the coming days. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have cancer and I was diagnosed when I was 16, they denied that it was even cancer until my mother insisted we got a Full panle biospy. It was malignent Cancer of theovaries and Uterus. Well I have had a full hysterectomy and now I am on Chemo for the second time. I am 23 now but it doesn't look so good. They won't tell me, but I don't think the chemo is going to get rid of all of it. But I have heard of people getting healed and miracles have happend. So my question is two things
A. Should I continue treatment and hope it works
or
B.what would you do?

A family member has stage 4 lung cancer. He went through radiation on the brain and chemotherapy. Recent scans show that the cancer has shrunk and remained stable. However, the patient has recently become very confused, thin, and weak. The doctors insist that all of his symptoms are caused by the cancer. However, we are not so convinced. He is on many medications, including several very strong pain meds. The doctors think this is the end, and that his body could shut down anytime now. Are we in denial?

When you ask for a pack of Marlboro in any store, 99 times out of 100, the reply is what kind? Any one who smokes knows that Marlboro is Marlboro. The store clerk asks you - menthol, 100's, lights or ultra-lights.

I did not ask for 100's, nor menthol, nor lights, nor ultra-lights.

All I asked for is Marlboro. Reds? Every Marlboro is red. Why ask?

In his book, "The Natural Cures they don't want you to know about", he exposed natural remedies in preventing and curing many diseases. He claimed that natural remedies are so effective and cheap that FTC doesn't allow our medical community to utlize these methods. After all, drugs companies are publicly traded companies, and they are all about making profits.
Many cancer patients who have used natural supplements with chemotherapy have had higher chance of survival rate. However, he claims that our medical system still do not recommend using these natural methods as they will cut down main profits.
