I've had a lump in my throat since January. It's just under my jaw on the right side. I've been to the doctor twice and both times they said it was a bacterial infection. They prescribed anti-biotics both times, the second time the doctor said the anti-biotic was stronger than penicillin and the lump would go away. That was in May, the lump is still there and I have been getting massive head aches. It hurts when I lift my head higher than normal. The lump seems to change sizes, but it's always there. I can't really afford to go the doctor again. Has anyone had anything like this and what happened? Could this be cancer?

I have a 28 year old uncle that did that cancer until just recently. Now it's in remission and he's home. He was prescribed some medication that is called "mephton". My aunt called me and asked me to look it up becuase they were just curious what it was for, but I cannot find it anywhere on the internet or in any medical books. I thought maybe I was just overlooking it in the lists here on the internet but when I type it in..it says that there is 0 results found. Maybe it's a generic brand but still wouldn't it exist somewhere. If you know anything about this medication or where I could find information about it I would appreciate it. Thank you.

patient is female, 41 yrs.,stopped smoking in 1997. chest xrays and chest CT scan revealed numerous small nodules in both lungs, but primary source cannot be found. doctors said it is metastatic lung cancer, 4th stage

She has low hemoglobin count. she has small myoma which doctors said cannot be source of the lung nodules, but bleeds profusely during menstrual periods.

patient does not exhibit symptoms, does not have fever, cough, chest pains, does not suffer from shortness of breath, her skin is ok, is breathing normally.

a lung specialist wants to do VATS to take biopsy, because broncoscopy will not be able to get the needed samples (nodules are too small, far from airways of lung). is VATS the last recourse?

you get diagnosed with a terminal illness that is incureable, you find out five days before you get married, you have about a year to live and you already told them you cannot have children. Do you live your life like everyday is your last one, or do you spend the remainder of your life going to docter appointments.

My grandma who is, like, the healthiest person I know was just diagnosed with Colorectal cancer (level C - out of A,B,C,D). She gets around great and everything so it came as a shock. At the third level, what treament is most successful? If you have dealt with this yourself or also have had a member of your family go through it....what was your experience like? Thanks.

What can we grow in our rivers to remove PCB's and other harmful things out of our rivers?

Is Ivex Corporation, steel dumping PCB's into the Rivers?

Who many lives have died because of the PCB's in our water that cook with and we drink in the last 30 years?

I have a raised mole (very small) it's been there for quite a few years. It was skin coloured outside with a black point in the middle.I had no pain but only occassional itching. last week it broke while sleeping, I just found a red spot on my gown. now its surrounding area is pinkish in colour with the same black spot & raised too. First two days it pained, now no pain.
