When will we find the cure for cancer?

The answer has been found in preventing it in the first place. U.S. law 103-417 has shown that over 20,000 studies conclude we can prevent disease such as cancer, heart disease and osteoporosis, 2 of the 3 biggies, by proper healthful diets. The problem is, who's going to advertise it? Not the pharmaceutical industry as that will put them out of business. Not the disease associations, Cancer Inst. Diabetes Assoc... as that will put them out of business. Of course we keep supporting them because we want "the cure". Diabetes magazine, a national publication, wrote an article how drug companies are not looking to create cures, they are looking for more ways to treat symptoms. In fact, they are looking forward to the next block buster disease. Diabetes has lancetes, glucose monitors, shoes, socks, insulins, boots, several drugs for circulation, glucose monitoring... and more. The are waiting for a similar disease to create more products and profits. This is why I don't support the "Race for the Cure" or any other like organization.

We all know that eating properly is key but, did you know the FDA raised the servings amount of fruits and vegetables to 9-11 servings everyday? Why? Because our foods do not have the nutritional value they had 50 years ago and we need to eat more to get the same previous value. Who even eats the 3-5? That is why we need to supplement our diets with whole foods nutrition.

This is also why I became a wellness consultant and although I know the task ahead of me is daunting, the reward will be great. I could sure use your help in spreading the word. Thanks.

All I know is that if I had cancer, I would start taking all natural antioxidants, lacctoferrin and eat alkaline foods. I will continue to use my infrared comforter to help me stay alkaline and keep checking my ph level.

Unfortunately we wont. Sadly there is no money in curing any disease. There is money in treating illness so the big drug companies look for different ways of treating over the long term and recurring cash into their greedy pockets.

Think about it, the last disease that was cured was polio in the 19 50s. nothing since then.

There are plenty of cures for cancer out there. Unfortunately, the American Medical Association does not support them, because cancer is much more lucrative for doctors as a long-term maintenance disease than it is as a curable disease.

When the American Cancer Society is ready to go out of business and millions of doctors and hospitals and pharmacies are ready to stop making money. there are cures. They are being suppressed because these people cannot make money on them.

Unfortunately, cancer is a very complex disease with both genetic and environmental influences. Cancer occurs when an abnormal cell line begins copying itself at an out of control rate somewhere in the body, harming surrounding tissues and reducing the effectiveness of the affected organ. Because there are dozens of different kinds of cancer affecting almost every type of tissue in the body, it is unlikely that a uniform "cure for cancer" will ever be practical. That said, there are several potential treatments for the disease in the scientific pipeline.

One of the most promising of these treatments involves something called gene therapy. Researchers are studying several ways to treat cancer using gene therapy. Some approaches target healthy cells to enhance their ability to fight cancer. Other approaches target cancer cells, to destroy them or prevent their growth. Some gene therapy techniques under study are described below.

In one approach, researchers replace missing or altered genes with healthy genes. Because some missing or altered genes (e.g., p53) may lead to cancer, substituting “working” copies of these genes may keep cancer from developing.

Researchers are also studying ways to improve a patient’s immune response to cancer. In this approach, gene therapy is used to stimulate the body’s natural ability to attack cancer cells.

In some studies, scientists inject cancer cells with genes that make them more sensitive to chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or other treatments. In other studies, researchers place a gene into healthy blood-forming stem cells to make these cells more resistant to the side effects of high doses of anticancer drugs.

In another approach, researchers inject cancer cells with genes that can be used to destroy the cells. In this technique, “suicide genes” are introduced into cancer cells. Later, a pro-drug (an inactive form of a toxic drug) is given to the patient. The pro-drug is activated in cancer cells containing these “suicide genes,” which leads to the destruction of those cancer cells.

Other research is focused on the use of gene therapy to prevent cancer cells from developing new blood vessels (angiogenesis).

Chances are that one or more of these treatment options will be available to the public in 10-15 years. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer, your best option is to talk with your physician about the many treatment options already available.
