What about a combination... like a user fee, where someone who smokes will be required to pay 20% of the treatment cost....

gotta think that people would think twice before smoking if smoking related illnesses were not covered

My dad found out that he has a 3 INCH TUMOR in the right side of his brain. This is devastating for our entire family, especially since we have 2 babies at home and a 14 year old daughter (me). Anyway, I've been googling it and haven't had much luck since we don't know what kind it is yet. Also everything is so confusing...

Can somebody just tell me whats going to happen? Is life ever going to be normal for us again? My dad is turning 45 next week. I know a 3 inch tumor is really big, but is it really fatal? You always see people on TV that have cancer but you never think it will happen to your family. BTW, we don't know if it is cancerous or not yet, since he is still being tested.

Dear all, I am a 24 year old girl. I am very healthy and has never had any major problem, surgery etc. A week ago I woke up suddenly with a sharp pain in the back of my left eye. Back then it was just in the eye and had no headaches. The same day I went for a complete checkup at my eye doctor and he said it was probably stress or forcing/straining my eyes studying for my test. This week however, for the past 4 days I have also experienced headaches. As though the eye pain projects to the head as well- like a burning iron is on my head. I am scared to DEATH. Can this be a brain tumor? stress?

My grandmother had part of her stomach removed a few months back because of cancer and she went into the hospital with abdominal cramps. They found nothing but admitted her anyways. My family thinks it could be lactose intolerance.

I was born with a very dark mole on my back. it is not huge, its aboout the size of a pencil eraser, a little smaller.
Anyways, about 4 months ago, the area (my shoulder blade) has began cracking and popping, and now, the noise has stopped, but i have alot of pain when I turn or reach... I also get a feeling of pins and needles around the area.
Do you think this sounds like Melanoma, or just a coincidence, that the pain and numbess i sin the same area?
