Have you tried Alive Hospice or another hospice? They were wonderful when my mom was dying of cancer. They paid for all of her medications. What about your state's health insurance like medicaid or whatever it's called. I'm in TN and our state's insurance is called TennCare which enrolls people who have no insurance and can't afford private ins. My mom was able to get on it and it was a lifesaver.

You should see if your state participates in something called Charity Care by contacting the hospital admission. It's analyzed on a per case basis. Just try to seek out as many options as possible, even try contacting a local cancer organization that can maybe point you in the right direction.
I hope something works out and I wish you and your sister all the best, my thoughts are with you.

A hospital cannot turn away any patient. If they will not care for her, I would sue them until you can afford to pay. Sue them for every dime they have.
NO HOSPITAL IS ALLOWED TO TURN YOU AWAY.
Tell the hospital it will be paid at a later date and have your sister file a medical bankruptcy. I know that sounds bad, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
My little brother has cancer too. We will pray for you and your family through this time.

Does your state have insurance programs for people without much money? I would check with the department of health and human services in your state.

Call Hospice or Public Health. Sometimes these agencies have programs under charity care. So sorry.

What country do you live in. I am an Oncology nurse in a hospital and we never refuse treatment because of inability to pay. There has to be more to this story. What else is going on?
