Well it depends on the case...there is a form of radiation they use to cure it, but if it has already done enough damage...it is a bad case. I am really sorry to hear about your uncle.
My uncle died from brain cancer when I was young...
Take care, and please be there for him.

There are many different forms of brain cancer. Outcome depends on the type and the extent of the primary tumor as well as any metastatic sites. Without this information it is impossible to answer your question.
Many patients with brain cancer have had good outcomes at my hospital, many others have not. It's like I said; it depends on the specific tumor. If the doctors are telling you that there is no hope then it is probably a very bad form.

Have you ever heard of Lance Armstrong? He won the Tour de France seven times in a row, after having cancer removed from many parts of his body, including his brain. There is hope.

Yes, Lance Armstrong had testicullar cancer that had spred into his abdomen and into his brain and he recovered fully and won the Tour De France many times. I belive there is a chance, dont listen to doctors they can put you down, just try and give him assurance that he can beat this and pull through. I am very sorry and I will pray for him to recover fully. Good luck!

Survival of the patient depends upon age, early detection and nature (malignancy) of the brain cancer. A brain tumour can push on important parts of the brain, causing blackouts, fits and other problems.
Please see the webpage for more details on Brain cancer.

Sorry to hear your despair...the hope of finding a cure is always there, but the reality of dealing with his diagnosis is unavoidably painful, and heartfelt, wish I had a magic wand to ease or comfort you there...I'm hoping you have support around you to help you get through this difficult time...and know people are just a keyboard away...if need be, take care!

it really is a marginally precis thanks to assert it yet certain, truly over the years, remember, effected by coincidence in some result, has resulted in the creation of not in common words my mind, yet all structures in the universe. to go somewhat extra intensive although, after a particular quantity of probability, organic approaches have shaped. Gravity isn't a remember of probability, for instance, and could continually effect in large bodies of remember attracting smaller bodies of remember. The formation of the sunlight and the Earth are the end results of this. life in the international is the end results of particularly uniform chemical reactions particularly than totally probability, and the ensuing lifeforms between this and people were, in a lot of situations, particularly deterministic particularly than thoroughly random. in case you realize the physics of issues, there is no such element as probability, in common words very uniform actual approaches that should be mapped given adequate suggestions. that's in common words extremely looks random to the uninformed observer. If it were achieveable to break the guidelines of causality you should assert that issues would not unavoidably ensue the way they did, yet because that's not achieveable, the way it occurs is the in common words way it ought to ensue.

i am really sorry to hear this, i have a friend who is newly diagnosed with lung lymphoma, he is just 35. your question is very hard to answer as there are many types of cancer, brain cancer is not just restricted to one type. the good news is that when doctors give a prognosis, it is the minimal expected time.
with the minimal info you have given, i can only emphasise quality of life, how sick is this person? encourage them to fulfill their dreams while they can. in answer to your question, there is always a chance. best of luck.

Many brain tumors such as astocytomas grades 3 or 4 are highly malignant and spread like wild fire. I am afraid the doctors are right.
