Pancreatic carcinoma can block the bile duct and cause cholecystitis. I am not aware of people with cholecystitis having higher rates of pancreatic cancer. Although you could speculate that gall bladder stones(a cause of cholecystitis) can cause pancreatitis which may increase the rate of pancreatic carcinoma.

Pts who have pancreatic cancer often present with the same signs and symptoms of someone who has gall stones because the tumor or mass clogs the bile duct much like gall stones clog the bile duct.
There is no connection between having gall stones and pancreatic cancer, other than the same symtoms for both.
