what is the survival rate for someone who has adenocarcinoma cancer AND how long before someone is diagnosis with it has left to live.

Adenocarcinoma is in the Non-small cell carcinoma category. In general, 5 or 10-year survival rate is the measuring stick or standard for comparison.

As with most cancers, survival depends on how soon the diagnosis is made. If a diagnosis is early, typically the portion of lung can be removed and suvival is high as long as the cancer has not spread.
