I know "Tough" by Craig Morgan ... but I'm looking for somemore. My mom was recently diagnosed with colon cancer (so if there's a song only about breast cancer or something, please don't list it) and I want to put together a "montauge" of sorts, I need some good songs. Thank you in advance!

I want to visit a close friend of mine, who's taking care of her mother who's battling cancer and going through massive chemotherapy side effects. What would be a good gift to bring the mother?

My MIL has just been diagnosed with cancer. She went to the doc for an MRI to look at her back because she was experiencing longterm pain. They found lump on spine. CAT and PET revealed lump in breast (second time, first was 15 yrs ago - believed to be source), also found lump on bone in arm, on ribs, and another spot on bone. Brain, heart, and lungs look ok. Doc told her that people live 15 years with this prognosis.. Is that crap or is he telling truth?

My DH lost his dad 5 years ago in an accident and he's been looking at losing his mom, she's also in congestive heart failure (14 yrs and counting) and has chronic asthma, etc. She already takes 20+ meds 2x daily for all of it. I'm just searching for anyone elses' experience in the matter. They said breast was stage 4.

My Mom is undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer and she says she got something that felt like acid reflux but much worse. Now she says she can barely swallow, her throat hurts and her mouth is full of sores. Is there something she could get at like Walgreen's that will help and what is it that she has? Thanks for your help. :0(

I have to make an ad for school on breast cancer awareness. What types of things would you put on it?

Please remember, this is supposed to be simple. Specific details on the disease aren't needed, I just need a few ideas.

Thanks. =D

a result of BAD diet. For the last 20 odd years that she has been married her family has been eating outside on a daily basis. She doesn't cook and even gets breakfast from a nearby restaurant. Basically a lot of meats, fried, baked and white flour stuff.
I want to know if her ailment increases the risk for my husband and kids. Does the breast cancer thing run in the family ?
None of my husbands other relatives have ever had cancer.

We all know that smoke from a cigarette is deadly. It contains cancer-causing substances and all that other stuff. I'll tell you what I think about doing. If you take a piece of paper and roll it up and tape it around and put it in the shape of a cigarette. In it, it's just an opening. Just paper. If you light one end of the paper in the shape of a cigarette, and smoke comes out of it, and i some of the smoke gets in you and in your lungs and whatever else would it do the same things a cigarette would? All it is is paper rolled up and lit at the end and inhaled and exhaled. It's just regular smoke, Not cigarette smoke. It doesn't have nicotine in it. Would it still harm my lungs? Would it harm me at all?

I'm 16, and about 2 years ago, I had a really hard hit on my right breast. Since then, it seems like it hasn't been growing. My left breast seems to be fine and growing, but not the right one. In addition, just this past month, I noticed a lump in the right breast [the one I bumped] I figured that it was probably because of when I bumped it. But today, it has started to hurt! And its the lump that is hurting!

So is this cancer, and if not, is this anything to be worried about?

thanks

And if so, do you have any other additional information that would be helpful. It's called Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Everything you were taught about the symptoms of breast cancer does not apply to this type. And it is extremely lethal. No lumps and it doesn't show up on a mammogram. A 16 year old girl even died from it, just because she was too embarrassed to tell her mom that her breast looked funny. And most doctors mistake it for a simple infection upon initial examination. Please read the following link for more information (i hope this saves some lives!):
