I have to make an ad for school on breast cancer awareness. What types of things would you put on it?

Please remember, this is supposed to be simple. Specific details on the disease aren't needed, I just need a few ideas.

Thanks. =D

The pink ribbon is the international symbol for awareness and then I think a great thing would be a small typed "self exam procedure" and then one last thing would be: go to google and then google breast cancer images. You will find some pretty good pics on there to show images of many different forms of breast cancer. You may want to show some statistics as well. Just some ideas. Make it as simple as you want!

Simple: Breast Cancer use to be a disease of the older generation. Today in 21 century with our high pollution of water air, toxic chemicals from our depletion's for trees to wood products in building homes to accommodate an out of control population along with process food alcohol Breast Cancer is now being found in women as young as 18 yrs old and they are more aggressive and deadly.

Women need more then just awareness they need to wake up.

yahoo or google RESVERATROL and IP6.

Both of these are natural and cure breast cancer. Look it up and see what i mean. My friend was given 3 months to live and that was tow years ago. Started taking the stuff after 3rd of 11 chemo and stopped chemo. M. D. Anderson Cancer Center has done much. Als the Chinese and Japanese. You can buy at vitacost.com, oldsouthwinery.com and most health food stores. Not a joke check it out. The more people that know the better. Drug companies not pushing it because it's natural and that is why, but also google "resveratrol preclinical and clinical studies" and "aggrawal resveratrol".

He is the doctor. take care. Spread the word and save jpeople. Thanks.

I agree with Nurse Brandi, definately the PINK RIBBON the symbol for breast cancer. I would also do maybe a theme of different types of women such as teachers, nurses, doctors, police women, cashiers, mothers etc. which symbolizes ANY woman is subject to breast cancer, MEN too. (Just not as common). Maybe just put up a few key phrases like "Early dectection, Mamograms, Self-examination etc" aides in prevention of breast cancer. And BE AWARE.

In acute mastitis, the skin becomes red, warm and oedematous. Similar picture may be seen in acute mastitis carcinomatosa. Presence of engorged veins is commonly seen in large soft fibroadenoma and sarcoma. It is not so routine feature of carcinoma. In carcinoma, there will be dimpling, retractionor puckering, peau d' orange, nodules, fungation.
In simple words, certain breast cancer appears like the outer skin of an orange.
Please see Google search for more details on Breast cancer and Peau d' orange.
