Im not sure if this is normal or not? Im going to see a doctor on weds, but i just wondered if any of you could advise?
In Jan/Feb time I noticed an slight uncomfortable feeling in my right testicle also noticing it was slightly larger than the other one. Thats as much as I can remember really and I just got on with life. Now im getting worried about it again. It's not hugely swollen but it still feels bigger, and slightly heavy especially when i get an erection. There is little or no pain usually. Only sometimes when i feel around at the bottom. But the thing is...there is no lump!?!? Cant feel a lump at all and have never been able to. As I say im seeing the doctor next week, but any support and advice would be really nice.
Thanks

Dr. Peri-

I am sorry you have metastatic, stage 4 colon cancer.

You asked me for my professional opinion, in consultation, about whether or not another abdominal operation would be of benefit to you.

I have made it very clear to you that I do not believe that further surgery on your abdomen is indicated, and that such an operation will not help your cancer problem.

I cannot think of a way that I can make this more clear to you.

I am sorry you are unhappy with that opinion.

It is certainly your perogative to seek other professional opinions from other surgeons.

I have nothing further to say to you, and I would appreciate it if you would stop e-mailing me.

Dr .Eugene Foley

My brother is dying of cancer. He has a very large cancerous tumor in his abdomen, it didn't respond to chemo. The cancer is very aggressive and my brother is fading fast. When I talk to my friends on the phone or by e-mail, I patiently listen to their stresses and difficulties in life and give them moral support. However, when it comes to me talking about my recent stresses -- my most difficult stress being my sick brother -- they won't listen to me at all. They decide to end the phone call and in e-mails they say nothing. They abandon me. What could be their problem? Are they compassionless? awkward? scared? I find it very frustrating. I have one compassionate friend, but I can't talk to him much because he lives so far away. By the way, I'm not the type who lets it "all hang out" and goes into nitty-gritty details and overwhelms people. I just want to be able to tell my friends a little about it and would like them to just listen for a moment.

ok ive gone to 3 doctors telling showing them my lymphnodes and i think they are swollen. they feel them and say i dont think they ar eanything at all. But sometimes i feel that they arent really feeling what i am feeling.

one doctor said just to ease ur mind we can do a soft tissue ct scan and since he wasnt really worried i didnt get it done but that was months ago. i am worried again, i always worry about cancer i am a paranoid person and it makes me sick/

im always itchy all over my body but i have excema and dry skin ive always assumed that was it. i know the only way to know if u have lymphoma is biopsy but if the ct scan shows nothing enlarged does that mean no biopsy then?

is ther a way to prevent lymphoma and cancers

She is 30. From what I understand it is very rare. They are not giving her much more information than what I have already told you here. My question is how deadly is this? I am finding conflicting information. It is a mass on the outside of her esopogus. They gave her no information in the form of what stage it is in. They just said it was high grade. Can someone tell me something more about this kind of cancer?

my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer and my stepmother is only 48 years old and she has breast cancer. While i have researched that you should start getting mamograms when you are 40years old, i am wondering if i should go earlier? i know some girls my age (18) who have had breast cancer, and who get regular mamograms. what should i do??

I need a colonoscopy but am uninsured. Colon cancer is prevalent in my family and I am long overdue for this test.

I can pay cash. Does any medical facility offer free, low cost or discounts for cash for colonoscopy?

Appreciate your input. Shar

...the fact that about 9 percent more men in the US develop prostate cancer than women develop breast cancer.

$550 million v. $80 million

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/articl...

Likewise, in Australia, breast cancer on average kills 2600 women each year

However,

http://www.prostate.org.au/pcfa-reso...n...

Prostate cancer kills 2,700 Australian men every year.

2600 women v. 2700 men. Yet the Australian Government, in 2004, through the National Health and Medical Research Council, provided $6.9 million in funding for research into breast Cancer. While the Australian Government, through the National Health and Medical Research Council, provided $2.5 million in funding for research into prostate cancer.

$6.9 m for women; $2.5 m for men.

Women receiving 3x more funding than men.

My question is WHY

Are men just not worth as much as women?

well we have had smoking, then alcohol, now red meats contribute to cancer, you see i dont think they still know what causes cancer, they are clutching at straws, we will all be in little bubbles before long, i will not change my lifestyle i believe when my time is up its up what do you think, i feel sorry for the bars with smoking ban then alcohol, and the farmers that may go out of bussiness due to this last statement.

about 1 mon ago she found out she has cancer which has spreaded to SEVERAL areas. she's in the hos now and expected to come home today. the docs said there's nothing else they can do. omg, i can't believe i'm even saying that ;>( i can't even express how i feel about this even on how the docs treated her. he was sooo blunt to her as tho she don't have feelings. "you can do whatever you want, nothing is gonna help you" was his statement. right now her breathing is the biggest prob cuz there's a mask that covers i think the whole side of 1 of her lungs. i know what cancer means exspecially when it's the fast type, but there is also a place in my head that still holds hope. i know that GOD can zap all of that cancer out of her in a blink, so i hold tight to that hope.
anyways, i came across this site. i know lots of stuff isn't true on the net, but...
should i give this a try, what do we have to loose?
what do you guys think?
