Im not sure if this is normal or not? Im going to see a doctor on weds, but i just wondered if any of you could advise?
In Jan/Feb time I noticed an slight uncomfortable feeling in my right testicle also noticing it was slightly larger than the other one. Thats as much as I can remember really and I just got on with life. Now im getting worried about it again. It's not hugely swollen but it still feels bigger, and slightly heavy especially when i get an erection. There is little or no pain usually. Only sometimes when i feel around at the bottom. But the thing is...there is no lump!?!? Cant feel a lump at all and have never been able to. As I say im seeing the doctor next week, but any support and advice would be really nice.
Thanks

If you don't feel a lump, it is possible that you have developed either a varicocele or a hydrocele. I'm more inclined to think a hydrocele due to the swelling. Please be aware, I am only telling you what it MIGHT be. I am glad you are seeing a doctor as he will be able to tell you for sure whether it is either of these or something else entirely.

A hydrocele is a sac of fluid around the testicle. It is usually not painful. It also usually clears up without treatment but, if the swelling doesn't clear up, then treatment is necessary.

A varicocele is enlarged veins in the scrotum. A varicocele may get larger as most varicoceles develop over time. Also, most develop on the left side.

A varicocele can be a very common cause for low sperm production and poor sperm quality. It is also a cause for infertility. Most varicoceles are not treated unless they are causing pain or infertility. However, it is a good idea to see a urologist, the proper doctor to handle this problem, so that he can at least diagnose you and follow your condition.

Just keep your appointment and good luck!

Good query! I consider it's due to the fact that such a lot of females get breast melanoma, and such a lot of die from it. I am no longer certain what the records are on testicular melanoma. I realize that Lance Armstrong, an athlete and survivor of testicular melanoma, has a groundwork or charity to elevate cash for study.
