It blocks the estrogen from getting to the tumor. The estrogen feeds the tumor so when it is blocked it gradually died.

I don't think it can reduce the size of breast cancer,tomoxifin stops the estrogen in your body from making some cancers grow.
To get the benefits you have to take it for 5 years!

Tamoxifen doesn't effect the size of ones breast. It is just a estrogen receptor blocker. It plugs the receptors so estrogen can't get into the cell and grow.
Some women do have side effect but reducing the breast size isn't one of them.
