I need your help. My best friend was diagnosed with leukemia and might even have a brain tumor too. He's depressed about it, and I'm worried about him. What can I do? Is he going to live long? Am I going to lose my best friend? I need your help and answers ASAP. What all can the doctors do in order for him to live? What's going to happen to him? V_V;

I am trying not to get excited about this, but of course I never had a call like this one before. I went to the Derm a few weeks ago for my six month visit for my acne. I had a large mole on my arm for quite sometime. It was not bothering me, just ugly looking, so I asked for the Derm to remove which he did and sent out for a biopsy. The Doctor called me this morning to inform me that I have melonoma and that the lab reviewed it and then they sent it to Univ of PA for a 2nd opinion. Is there anything to be worried about? I have been doing research on the internet regarding this form of cancer and it is always confusing to me. On Tues, I will go to the Derm office for removal and I assume afterwards they sent it out again to make sure all is gone. Is melonoma cancer? Please if anyone has been through this or can shed some light, please let me know.

Thank you so much.

Help me Ive recently been diagnosed with cancer?

I am only 22yrs old and in the US Air Force and have been recently diagnosed with cancer of the brain and spinal cord. Apparently it is bad enough that I have to have an operation to have two of them removed from the bottom of my brain stem where it meets my spinal cord. I am also staioned in Okinawa, Japan so I am a very long ways from my home and family and I am more terrified than I have ever been. The doctors have discussed sending me to San Antonio, Texas for the operation because it is to delicate for then to want to do here. I am frightened, Is there anyone out there maybe even any cancer survivors who can offer any words of encouragement

Since cancer rates are on the rise in some areas of the U.S. I was wondering if prolong exposure to your microwave over a period of time can cause cancer? Just wondering what your thoughts were on this.
