Much depends upon an individuals overall health, age, the stage of the cancer, and the grade of the tumor. Much may also depend upon the skills of the oncologist, the ability of the patient to locate effective treatment options, and on lucky circumstances.
You can find survivors for all cancers, all stages, and all tumor grades . . people can beat the odds of their particular cancers.

Depending on how advanced it is and at what stage it is Throat Cancer has a good suvival rate with chemo and radiation treatment combined

Depends how early you catch it. I've known 4 friends and friend of friends to have a form of that cancer and it was very quickly spreading overall.
