Definitely. But you could also get a totally different type of cancer. Anyone can get cancer whether they smoke or not. The risk of getting cancer and being unhealthy is far greater if you smoke. One of the problems with smoking is that it involves your lungs. When a person has cancer, no matter which part of the body it might occur in, one of the areas that cancer can spred to is the lungs. Smokers will suffer more side effects if they have cancer. Struggling to breath can be painful.

People with cancer have the best chances of fighting cancer if they are relatively healthy, have clear lungs, no secondary disease, excercise regularly, and eat healthy foods. You cannot be relatively healthy if you are a smoker . . so you will always be at a higher risk.

You may already have damaged one of the most precious gifts you have by smoking or being around second hand smoke. The damage can never be reversed, but stop now and pray you have not made a nest for cancer to grow in. Why take the chance of losing the only set of lungs you have and developing cancer? Only a doctor can diagnose if you have cancer or not.

Anyone can get cancer from smoking. I've been smoking since 16 and I'm now 28 and eight months pregnant. It's up to you to quit but if you're really concerned about getting any type of cancer related to smoking I would deffinitely quit to ease your mind of it. No guarantees though!!

Anyone who smokes or does not smoke has a chance of getting cancer. Smokers are just more likely because of the harsh chemicals they are putting in their body. Quitting should be because you want to improve your life. But I always say that you should be happy no matter if it is smoking or going to church. It is all up to you.

Yes, you can get cancer and yes you should quit. If you haven't done any permanent damage already, you can totally reverse the effects it has had on your body.

But you have to quit. Completely.
