A relative of mine recently had a colonoscopy and the doctor removed one polyp during the procedure. The doctor is going to test the polyp to see if it is cancerous. My question is, if the polyp is cancerous what does that mean for his future, will he have to take chemotherapy or take medication?

How come the state, government, social security or DSHS can help the Mexicans, Russians, Hispanics, Arabs and any other foreigners but not Americans when they need help? Why can't every American get medical like Canada?

My girlfriend has had breast cancer twice in the same breast and can't get assistance for medical. She had a mastectomy. I believe her cancer is in remission now. She can only get medical if and when the cancer spread or is consider terminal. What a bunch of B. S.

My grandma was diagnosed with lung cancer two years ago. I am going to college near her and spend weekends with her. She is my second mother. I have seen her before she had this and now have slowly watched her decline in health. She became in remission last year and started to feel like her old self again. Now this semester her cancer has come back and she is not seeing an end to chemo in sight. I am with her every weekend and see how bad she is doing. I care for her and cook for her and it's very hard for me to do emotionally. I end up crying when I come back to campus and have lost a lot of motivation for going to classes. Is this a valid excuse for "personal issues" for missing classes and asking my professor to allow me to make up a few assignments? I am now failing this class.

In May or April, my boyfriend, who is 19 years old, had a skin biopsy on the back of his headto remove a mole that was not cancerous. I am not sure if he's had pain before then, but SINCE that biopsy has happened he said the throbbing has increased around that spot. Is that normal? Or should we be concerned that it is something else? He said it is only in one area, not around the whole head, and that it feels like it is coming from the inside.

He doesn't have any insurance right now and we would like to know what to do.
