Scary indeed, but quoting from the article....
"The rate of patients recalling pain is estimated to be 0.03%.[3]
A recent large-scale study reported a much lower rate (0.0068%).[5]"

Pretty darn rare.
Talk to your anesthesiologist about your concern. Ask if he/she will be using paralyzing agents. If not, that shouuld eliminate most of your worry.

no, i guess you would have to be in one of these situations. Been put to sleep 4 times never remembered anything.
