I've never experienced anything like this. My back and chest are covered in raised light pink welts, as is my face. I've taken benadryl and soaked in an oatmeal bath. I can't afford expensive treatments or a doctor's visit right now. The last one cost me almost 60 bucks and all she did was write a prescription for Chantix, a stop smoking pill. I was in there maybe 5 minutes. Suggestions? Thanks.

my son will wake up in the morning with his eyes swollen and watery,my eyes will irrate me but thats it. I have washed the cat and still no luck,he is a mix medium long haired cat,but my other cats in the past were to. Is it possible to become allergic to a cat later in life? also is there a cure or no?He loves the cat!

ok, so here's the thing. my grandma has had a siamese cat for a few months now. she is the most loving cat and loves to cuddle up. i have never had a problem like this, but just recently after i come in contact with her, i develop a bumpy rash on my arm or neck. does anyone have any reason why this would be happening this late or has anyone else encountered this problem? i usually put tea tree gel on the rash and within an hour, it goes away. i was also able to buy special allergy and shed relief wipes for the siamese which i used on her today, but i still developed the rash. please help so i don't have to avoid petting this beautiful cat!

My eyes seem unclean to me. Though I go to the eye doctor who says everything is fine, my eyes are always red and dry. I do not have any infection (doctor said so). What other things are available?

On occasion (2x or 3x a week) I take Clairitin-D for my sinuses. I believe I am allergic to dust or maybe the cat. My sinuses bother me all winter, so I'd guess dust (itchy/stuffy/headaches), and yes I do dust and have my furnace filter replaced. I take no other meds.

On the Clairitin-D 24-hour ---anyone know if that's what's keeping me awake? I only sleep 2 hours to 4 hours at a time. Benadryl makes me way too sleepy to function unless I take it at bedtime but then I'm stuffy all day & I'm knocked out too long & sleep late. I need some antihistamine & some nasal decongestant in amounts that relieve symptoms, yet help. Solutions?

Even a little sip of wine sets off a severe reaction. Foods that contain vinigar and sometimes even bread will set-off hives and facial swelling.

I woke up a few nights back with swollen eyelids. They began to itch, but not intensley. It was more like the lids itched and it was vague yet ongoing.
Then lastnight I was having sex w/ my bf. We have slept in the same bed for 4 months. But suddenly I started sneezing like crazy, my eyes got itchier/puffier instantly, my nose was runny, and my throat was itchy. IT WAS HELL. I left his room very quickly and went to another room. The symptoms cleared after an hour. I woke up in the morning and my eyes had a few styes in them and the lids were puffy and itchy. WHAT IS GOING ON?? Do I need to go to the ER? Or will this clear? I have no insurance. I have NEVER been a person w/allergies. I am over 20 yrs. old so u would think I would know if there was an allergin. Nothing I ate has been wierd. Does anyone have a clue??
